Reviewing File Records
User Functionality > Retrieval Orders > Entering a Retrieval Order > Reviewing File Records

You are able to review the detailed information that is associated with each file displayed on the Search Results screen.

  1. Select Records Management | Search, Retrieve. The Search Results screen is displayed. 
  2. Perform a search to find the records you need to retrieve.  
  3. With your search results displayed, move your cursor over the record that you wish to view. The record will be highlighted.
  4. Click the file icon or select View Details from the Action dropdown.  The File Details screen opens with the Details tab displayed.
  5. Click the tabs to view the different screens:
    • File Details:  Detailed information about the file.
    • Box Details:  Detailed information about the contents of the box.
    • Transaction History:  A chronological list of orders and transactions associated with the file, including the users who requested the transactions.
    • Data History:  History of changes to the file's metadata.
  1. When you are finished reviewing the record, click Close to return to the Search Results screen.
